We’re looking for someone with a proven track-record to work alongside our Schools and academics in these key strategic positions.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, with proven relevant experience in an equivalent role in Higher Education, together with a strong knowledge of UK and EU research funding programmes, you will work with senior researchers in identifying and securing research funding opportunities, both in the UK and internationally.

You will provide strategic advice and proactively manage the development and submission of large complex proposals coordinating inputs across a large number of stakeholders that will lead to the submission of high-quality bids. You will be instrumental in facilitating interdisciplinary and in bringing researchers together around key societal challenges. We are particularly interested to hear from individual with experience and/or expertise in 1. Environment, climate change or sustainability and 2. Engineering, physical sciences or data. Working with Faculties, you will drive new initiatives to increase the quality of our bids and our success rates. 

With a proven track-record of making things happen, you will develop relationships with key funders to gain the intelligence that will inform the development of successful bids. Astute and highly-motivated, you will aim to increase both the breadth and value and frequency of our bid portfolio and play a key role in maintaining our track record in securing research funding.
