About the role

The Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting case studies of international scientific consortia. These case studies will focus on the distinctive challenges of organising research within scientific consortia and the organisational frameworks stakeholders use to deal with these challenges.

This role is funded until 28th February 2026. The salary is £44,347 per year (inclusive of London allowance).

About you

You will be required to have a PhD focusing on Technology and Innovation Management, STS, Sociology of Organisations, or related field.

You will be excited about the research goals of the INSCONS project and have the ability to publish in top-tier international journals and have experience conducting case study research and research on R&D organisations using both quantitative and qualitative data sources.

Proven ability to work independently in the development of research and an affinity and interest in both qualitative and quantitative research methods is also essential.
