We are seeking to appoint two experienced, motivated, pro-active, and enthusiastic Research Fellows to join the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Policy Research Unit Policy Innovation and Evaluation (PIRU) .

The available posts represent an opportunity to join a team of experts in evaluation with experience of conducting research to advise Government and its agencies using a broad range of evaluation methods on diverse policy areas across health services, social care and public health.

The postholders will have some experience of multi-disciplinary, mixed method policy and/or programme evaluative research, along with experience of synthesising evidence from routine data and/or peer reviewed research and/or policy documents.

Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (social policy, health policy, health economics, or closely related discipline). They must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively and must provide evidence of experience of academic writing, and a commitment to advancing research of the highest quality to contribute to the academic standing and sustainability of LSHTM.

The post is immediately available, full-time and fixed term for 36 months. The salary will be on the Academic Pathway salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £43,947 - £49,908 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The posts will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
