The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow.   

The postholder will be an active member of the research team assisting in the development and optimisation of novel customised nanocrystals for targeted drug delivery. The postholder will assist in the planning and delivery of this research activity so that the overall research objectives of the project are met.    

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:     

  • Have a degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a closely-related discipline (Minimum standard 2.1).
  • Have or about to obtain* a PhD in drug delivery/pharmaceutics (* within 3 months of starting employment).
  • Significant relevant research experience to include experience of design and manufacture of drug customised nanocrystals for drug delivery.

This post is available on fixed term contract for 12 months, or available until 31 March 2025, whichever is sooner.  Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
