Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be will be part of a highly productive research team studying human HSC biology, spanning from molecular analysis of gene expression and its regulation to in vitro and in vivo assays of the hematopoietic function, with direct translational applicability.
This post is available for 3 years in the first instance.
Key Requirements
The candidate should possess:
A PhD in a relevant biomedical discipline, or a concrete plan to defend a PhD thesis within a short timeframe.
A good knowledge of the biology of the hematopoietic and the immune system, as well as solid bases of developmental and stem cell biology.
An extensive knowledge of research techniques and methodologies related to gene expression and epigenetic analysis at the genome-wide level, including solid notions of bioinformatics.
A good research track with a record of high-quality publications, collaborations, and other contributions to the scientific community.
Experience of leading and managing a research project.
Ability to demonstrate a deep knowledge of own research background and to effectively communicate research achievements to a specialist and to a lay audience.
Willingness to contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment among team members and to advocate for and promote an endeavour of equality, diversity, and inclusion among colleagues and other LMCB members.
