Research Fellow, Materials Chemist

Job Description

A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore, under A/Prof Tan Zhi Kuang. The project will involve the preparation of luminescent semiconductors and quantum dots as well as the fabrication of optoelectronic devices for advanced color displays, photovoltaic, photosensor or wearable device applications.

Qualifications

The candidate should have:

• PhD in relevant scientific/engineering disciplines with demonstrated publication track record
• Keen interest in semiconductor materials and optoelectronic device research
• Prior experience in semiconductor and quantum dot preparation, as well as electronic device fabrication are preferred
• Preferably good theoretical understanding of semiconductors, device physics and spectroscopy
