Job Description

The Research Fellow

  • Will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr. LIN Yiliang, on the research project of biotic-abiotic interface design for enhanced (photo)electron transfer.
  • Will help to develop new strategies for biohybrid systems fabrication, perform materials/biohybrid characterization, fabricate biotic materials toward 3D devices

Qualifications

  • A PhD degree in a relevant area, e.g., Materials Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a closely related discipline.
  • Good publication record
  • A background in polymer design and synthesis, optoelectronic properties characterization, microorganism-based biohybrid systems assembly and characterization.
  • Any experience with 1) biocompatible materials design and synthesis, 2) microorganism-based biohybrid fabrication is a plus
  • This position is available from Apr 2024
