A postdoctoral researcher is required to work on an EPSRC project focussed on the delivery of artificial intelligence self-optimising continuous hydrothermal reactors for the synthesis of nanomaterials.

The project will be partly around the build and operation of the reactors themselves and also around the modelling of the mixing dynamics inside the reactors.

The researcher will be involved in all project meetings, visits to the project partners (including universities and industrial sponsors) and publishing non-commercially sensitive results in suitable high quality journals.  Forward thinking, ambitious candidates are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry, Flow Chemistry or Chemical Sciences.

Applicants must have a proven publishing track record, and demonstrate strong organisation and inter personal skills required to work in this highly practical project.

This post will be available from January 2023 until 30th September 2023. Hours or work are part time (18.13 hours).
