About the Role
Our reputation for leading in the field of digital systems: sensor data and signal processing for PNT, machine learning - has been established through active research in this field. This research group is focused on research on AI-based robust and resilient PNT for both the present air and land systems and for the future autonomous ones. Research works cover both funded research (from research councils and directly from clients) and academic provision (MSc and PhD).
In this role, you be expected to carry out research in Machine Learning for Autonomous Systems (especially for sensors and data processing for PNT); hold teaching responsibilities for our MSc courses in Machine Learning and PNT, and engage with academic, business and defence stakeholders to develop and deliver research projects, as well as assist with other activities within the group.
