A postdoctoral research fellow position (funded by BBSRC) is available for 3 years starting from 1st March 2024, working in the research group of Prof T D H Bugg, in the Chemical Biology Research Cluster in the Department of Chemistry at University of Warwick. The project will involve enzymology and microbial transformations using engineered microbial strains. The aim of the project is to develop a new biocatalytic route to pyridine and piperidine heterocycles from renewable sources.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
