Salary on appointment will be £45,737 per annum, with an annual increment up to £52,841 per annum  

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow based at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia to contribute to an ambitious NIHR funded programme of research focused on the development of big data-driven decision support systems to investigate the role of inflammation and nutrition on the onset and progression of multiple long-term conditions. The work will be based on the analysis of large scale longitudinal global health datasets including data from cohort studies, electronic health records and the commercial sector. You will work within a collaborative research culture to curate, link and synthesise datasets. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including statisticians, data scientists and clinicians, you will contribute to the design and implementation of novel deep learning algorithms for risk prediction modelling and early detection.

This full-time post is available from 1 April 2024 on a fixed term basis for 36 months.
