Job Description

• a) Survey and evaluate existing quality metrics for testing AI systems,especially deep neural networks
• Design and implement new testing metrics and analysis techniques thatcan measure the robustness, safety and ethical properties of AI systems
• Design and implement newstrategies and techniques that can repair and improve the robustness, safety and ethical properties of AIsystems
• Write and publish research papers and present them at reputable academic venues
• Package the documents, implementation code, evaluate results of the project for public release

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• First or second upper-class degree classification (or their equivalent), or minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in AI, cyber-security, software testing, program analysis, formal methods
• Excellent knowledge about AI, data mining, software testing, program analysis or cyber-security
• Highly fluent in C, Java, or Python
• Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members• Able to work under strict deadlines
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Prior experience as Research Assistant or Research Engineer is preferred
• Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverables will be advantageous (e.g., publications ortools developed in the area of AI, software engineering, or cybersecurity)
