This part-time (0.5 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until July 2023.
Summary of the role
This role is within the Research Development and Management pillar and the post holder will work as part of the Cornwall Cluster team. The post holder will provide research development and management support and advice academics across the research project lifecycle from idea to impact, supporting both the research development and financial elements. This includes identifying funding opportunities, coordinating bid development and supporting live projects and post project activities. This role will directly support standard to high risk/complex projects. The post holder will act as a Research Development Manager supporting academics across all three faculties on the Cornwall campuses, but will lead on supporting academics in specific departments (likely to be Humanities and Social Sciences, but may be flexible depending on successful candidate) based in Cornwall.
The Research Services Directorate is a key enabler to the delivery of the University's Research and Impact Strategy, a successful next REF submission and meeting research income targets.
