Research Associate - Trajectories of Reform in the Spanish World

Applications are invited for a Research Associate as part of the AHRC-funded project Trajectories of Reform in the Spanish World: Careering, Networks and Empire under the Early Bourbons (1700-1759). The position is full-time, fixed-term for 18 months, and is expected to commence on 27th April 2020.
You will be based in Manchester but will work abroad for several weeks at a time. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr Francisco A. Eissa-Barroso, conducting archival research, contributing to high quality research outputs and helping coordinate academic, outreach and impact events.
You will have a PhD in History or Latin American Studies, with experience of archival research with early modern Spanish or Latin American sources. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and will be fluent in English and Spanish. Experience developing online exhibitions would be an advantage.
