We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher, holding a PhD in Cell biology, biophysics or related disciplines that has experience and is interested in different aspects of cellular mechanobiology. The candidate will work with optical microscopy (confocal and super-resolution) combined with different mechanical techniques (AFM, Magnetic Tweezers, substrate stiffness, cell stretching devices, microfluidics, optogenetics) to understand how mechanical forces from the extracellular matrix propagate inside the cell to reach the cell nucleus.   

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months 

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent .
