Social Research Study on Management of Cats

Project summary

The Marketing programme in the SUSS School of Business is hiring a full-time research associate for a study of public perceptions towards community cats in Singapore. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills in research, project management, and communication skills as well as domain knowledge in cat management/animal welfare. 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in Project Planning, Budgeting and Management
• Perform literature review, data collection and analysis
• Conduct field observations
• Assist in Report writing and presentation

Job Requirements

Qualification/Experience Required

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good time management and organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work under stress
• Responsiveness to dynamic operational needs
• Willingness to work outdoor
• Prior experience with large scale research projects is preferred
• Proficiency in languages/dialects other than English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred as the research associate is required to be on the ground, speaking to residents whom may not be able to understand English/Mandarin Chinese
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a relevant field;
