A position is available for a Post-doctoral Research Associate funded by a grant from the Leverhulme Trust awarded to Prof Anthony Isles (School of Medicine) and Prof Ros John (School of Biosciences).

The position will investigate the contribution of maternally expressed imprinted genes to parental behaviour. The successful candidate will join an internationally renowned group combining molecular biology and neuroscience techniques to investigate the role of genomic imprinting in brain and behaviour.

Candidates should have a PhD and practical experience of genetic in vivo models and behavioural neuroscience, and/or molecular biology and bioinformatics.

This post is a full time 35 hours per week, available from 1st November 2021 and fixed term until 31st October 2024.

Salary: £34,304 - £40,972 per annum (Grade 6).
