Salary: Full time starting salary for Research Associate is normally in the range of £32,810 per annum, pro rata. Research Fellow is normally in the range of £35,559 to £39,434 per annum, pro rata.

Role Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Sustainable Aviation Laboratory, within Cranfield Environment Centre, to work on number of exciting projects, which are supporting the UK Government’s policies and decision-making around the aviation and the environment. 

About You

You will be educated to doctoral level (PhD obtained or near completion) in Transport economics or Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Economics/engineering, Computer Science discipline, LCA, Sustainability assessment. Experience in modelling, and data analysis with experience / familiarity with analytical techniques including econometric analysis and statistical modelling is desirable. A track record in independently managing research in sustainable aviation with an associated track record in publications would advantageous.
