The University invites applications for the above post which is tenable initially for upto 16 months, starting as soon as possible. Extension is likely subject to the progress of the projects.

You will join a large research team focusing on development of ceramic coatings for high temperature applications. These projects will involve close collaboration with industry, eg. Rolls-Royce. The research will be focused on chemical stability of ceramics at high temperature and characterisation of ceramics and ceramic coatings.
