Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work in the group of Dr. Milka Sarris in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge (https://www.pdn.cam.ac.uk/directory/milka-sarris ). The post is funded by a Leverhulme Trust-funded project investigating the role of group signalling and tissue geometry in leukocyte navigation during inflammatory responses.

Candidates should have a PhD in Cell Biology or a related field. We are looking for a person with substantial experience in molecular (e.g. cloning, gene expression profiling) and cell biology (e.g. tissue culture, protein expression) techniques and live cell microscopy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell biology and/or immunology. Experience with zebrafish manipulation and/or image analysis will be an advantage. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated researcher with a strong interest in the topic of cell motility and signalling and in developing new microscopy tools for imaging cell dynamics.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
