Salary: £27924 to £40927 per annum pro rata, depending on skills and experience (minimum £31406 with relevant PhD).

The purpose of this role will be to have specific responsibility for the Significant Ankle Ligament Injury Study (SALI).  You will join a multi-disciplinary research team whose role is to create new knowledge that can underpin evidence-based practice for people with ankle injuries. You will be expected to plan and conduct work using approaches or methodologies and techniques appropriate to the type of research and will be responsible for writing up work for publication. You will have the opportunity to use your initiative and creativity to identify areas for research, develop research methods and extend the research portfolio.  

You will be managed by Dr Stefan Kluzek, whose areas of research interest include sports and exercise medicine and musculoskeletal research.

Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent in relevant subject area or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience in this research area (Or be near to completion of a PhD). In addition, they must have experience in use of research methodologies and techniques to work within this area. This is a part-time post (18 hours per week), fixed term to 31st December 2022. Interviews will be conducted on 25 May 2022 via Microsoft Teams.
