The Genome Stability Lab (GSL), as part of the NEMO – Novel Early Markers for Ovarian cancer – Consortium, a highly interdisciplinary collaboration including three UK (Manchester, Cambridge and UCL) and two US (Stanford and OHSU) Centres wish to appoint a laboratory-based postdoctoral research associate to an exciting project exploring novel ways of identifying biomarkers to detect ovarian cancer at a pre-malignant stage.

This position starting from 1st June 2024 is funded by CRUK-ACED, and is targeted at highly motivated individuals who are looking for an exciting project to make new discoveries in the above research area.

During this position, the post-holder will undertake a range of activities to analyse and characterise different types of tissue/lavage samples obtained from patients undergoing surgery, by a wide range of cutting-edge technology platforms, including, but not limited to, state-of-the-art spatial and quantitative proteomics.
