Research Associate: Computational Modelling of Social Perception

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual for a one-year Postdoc position working at the interface of social neuroscience, visual perception, and computational modelling. The project will involve the development of computational models of social perception (e.g. facial expressions), as well as collection and analysis of psychophysical data for comparison with the models.
The project will be based at the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre. Ideally the successful candidate will start in Jan or Feb 2021.

This post is full-time, available from the 1 January 2021, fixed-term for 1 year / or until 28 February 2022 (depending on start date).
Salary £33,797 - £40,322 per annum (Grade 6).  It is not expected to appoint above £33,797 per annum, salary point 30.
