Research Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our interdisciplinary research and development team to help progress a therapeutic Android-powered RGB lamp device. As a research assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of software development, testing and liaison with the Industrial Partner. Additionally, you will research and develop appropriate data collection, storage, encryption and analysis approaches to create a polished integrated tool that meets the needs of local academics and our commercial partner.


About you

You should have evident enthusiasm for the subject area, demonstrated with a degree or relevant experience in computer science, engineering or related subjects. You should also be able to demonstrate practical experience in software development, applying research skills and techniques to deliver outputs on time and to the required quality. Additionally, your knowledge base should include java-based android development and database management, alongside keen analytical and problem-solving skills.
