Food for Health Ireland (FHI; www.fhi.ie) is a centre for functional food development funded by Enterprise Ireland and members of the Irish Food Industry. FHI combines expertise from a number of national institutes including University College Dublin, Teagasc and others.

This research assistant position will be located at University College Dublin A research assistant is sought to join Food for Health Irelands human intervention studies. The research will focus on conducting human studies to examine the impact of consumption of food, nutrients and food-bioactives on markers of health and disease, including grass fed dairy products, maternal health supplements and bioactives focused on gut health. The successful candidate will be involved in participant recruitment, data collection (diet, anthropometry), as well as laboratory and statistical analysis, and supporting the writing of scientific publications/reports.

The candidate will also contribute to other tasks such as preparation for study days, inventory & ordering and data entry, data managements and other relevant duties. The successful candidate must be flexible in working hours.

Salary Range: €27,109 - €36,422 per annum* *

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
