About the role
We are looking for a Research Assistant (Qualitative) to join us in the Department of Respiratory Sciences. You will collect, evaluate and interpret qualitative research data, documenting your findings whilst assessing the outcomes and options emerging from the research, contributing as a junior partner to the writing and publication of research papers.
You will also prepare research reports monitoring and evaluating the research activity of the RECHARGE project and provide expert advice to staff and students in the department.
To be successful in this role you will be educated to Post Graduate level in a relevant discipline with experience of qualitative heath research. Ideally you'll hold a PhD in a relevant subject with practical experience of applying research skills and techniques.
You'll be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, being able to work comfortably both in a team and independently.
