Research Assistant; Prediction modelling for repeat self-harm in prisoners

Applications are invited for two Research Assistants to work on a NIHR-funded research programme developing and validating a prediction model for repeat self-harm in prisoners, led by Professor Seena Fazel.  The posts are full-time and you will be based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital in Headington, Oxford.

The posts are fixed-term (until 30 June 2023).

The research will primarily involve collecting data from the records of individuals in prisons in England, which will be used to develop a scalable approach to risk assessment for self-harm. The project involves collaborating with research teams based in Manchester and York. 

You will have a BSc (2:1 or above) in science or social science, along with experience of recruiting people into research projects and of data collection.   An MSc in psychology, criminology or health related science would be desirable, as would experience of prison research.
