Research Assistant (part time)

The Centre for Public Health, School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Research Assistant within the Centre for Public Health.  

The post-holder will be directly responsible for the administrative functions and will collect data from study participants.

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • First or upper second class honours degree or equivalent in Nutrition or closely related discipline 
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.   
  • Experience retaining and engaging with participants in research studies. 
  • Experience of collecting research data from adults in human research studies. 
  • Experience of data entry for human research studies in line with study protocol and standard operating procedures 
  • A proven record in the management of significant resources, including human, physical and financial planning, purchasing, analysing and reporting.

This post is Fixed Term (22 hours per week), available until 30 November 2024. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
