We welcome applications for two new exciting research posts from those with relevant knowledge and experience in interactive visualisation and analysis of multidimensional data.
About the Role
These roles focus on the development of data visualisation and decision-making software environment for the study of trade-offs in hybrid electric aircraft design, as part of FUTPRINT50 project (futprint50.euou will have the opportunity to work closely with world leading researchers and industrial engineers on the design, modelling, integration and analysis of hybrid electric systems and architectures. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team within the Hybrid Electric Propulsion Group at Cranfield and influence the future of the aerospace industry.
About You
You will be educated to doctoral level in a relevant subject in Systems Engineering or Computer Science (or very close to completion) and have relevant experience to enable you to support the development, exploitation and integration of investigated methods into existing in-house systems design and decision-making framework. Alternatively, you may be considered for a position at Research Assistant level if you have a relevant Masters’ degree and can demonstrate the required knowledge and experience. With excellent engineering programming and communication skills, you will be confident in evaluating the research risk and constructing an appropriate response, possess strong initiative and know who to refer problems to if they can’t be dealt with at source.
