Salary: £27924 to £30497 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The purpose of this role will be to assist and support the PhysImAls research team in carrying out academic research and engagement with industry in the area of perfusion imaging using Arterial Spin Labelling MRI. You will develop and evaluate analysis pipelines and reporting tools that will be used in existing and future research studies, in pilot clinical applications and in partnership with external organisations.? 

You will join an established team, led by Prof Michael Chappell, whose main areas of research interest include physiological imaging, probabilistic inference and mathematical modelling, and how these can be applied to interrogate living human physiological processes for research and clinical applications in a range of diseases including dementia, cancer and stroke.

This is a full time, fixed term post until 31 October 2022. Job share arrangements and part time working are available, minimum 20h per week.
