Research Assistant in Applied Mathematics

Job Description

Job responsibilities mainly include but not limited to the following:

  • Assist in research, including collecting/coding/analyzing data, coordination of research projects, etc;
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating activities, seminars, and different types of meetings;
  • Undertake other assignments assigned by the supervisor.

    • Job Requirement 

  • Master degree in Mathematics field or related discipline;
  • Familiar with quantitative research methodology, including data collection, cleaning and analysis;
  • Analytical capability and intellectual curiosity;
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Excellent English and Chinese reading, speaking, and writing ability.
