Job Description
The successful candidate will work with A/Prof Chin Wee Shong on some exploratory research work on the chemistry of materials.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Perform experiments on the design and preparation of novel materials
- Oversee the overall housekeeping and maintenance of the laboratory
- Assist PI in safety matters as the Safety Lead of the laboratory
- Support the supervision of student projects of the research group
Qualifications
- Qualifications / Discipline: A bachelor degree in Chemistry, preferably with chemical safety and related working experiences
- Skills: Preferably have direct and hands-on experiences in SEM, XRD, and other general spectroscopic measurements
- Experience: Someone who has performed research work in chemistry laboratory or industry, and is able to handle chemicals safely
