Job Description
The Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of Enhance oil recovery. The research assistant background should be in chemical/petroleum engineering. The candidate should be able to characterize oil and core samples and familiar with EOR techniques. The Research Assistant is expected to provide high-quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication, thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University.
Minimum Qualification
Master degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering is required. The candidate should have the ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.
Preferred Qualification
- Command of experimental work
- Command of emulsion preparation and rheological tests
- Be adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands
- Commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace
