Research Assistant (Actissist) (Part Time)

Research Assistant will carry out recruitment, assessments and associated study duties on a research project funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) entitled Active Assistance for Psychological Therapy 2.0 (Actissist 2.0): Digital Intervention for Co-producing care in psychosis. This study seeks to test in a large scale randomised controlled trial the efficacy of a CBT-informed app over and above routine symptom monitoring in an early psychosis group.

As part of a skilled project research team, the post-holder will assist with recruiting to the study, supporting the effective delivery of the study, and carrying out assessments. The role will also involve active participation in reviewing relevant literature, recruiting key stakeholders (for interviews and feedback regarding the implementation of the intervention), supporting the training of clinical staff and study participants, recruiting participants to the project, collecting data, including follow-up data, administering assessments, supporting data analysis, and adhering to all clinical and governance procedures.
