Research Administrator

About the role
To provide comprehensive administrative support for respiratory research trials including the 3TR-ABC study, which is a multi-centre, multi-national, observational study of patients with severe asthma following initiation of biologic treatment as part of their standard of care. The role includes regular liaison with Professor Chris Brightling, the Project Manager, Programme Manager, Clinical Research Fellow(s), Data Management Officer(s), research sites (both in the UK and across Europe), industry funders and collaborators, third party service providers, other members of the Respiratory Sciences Department, NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and wider University. This may result in undertaking other duties commensurate with the grade and relating to other respiratory research trials.
About you

The candidate will have  minimum of 5 GCSEs passes or equivalent qualifications, experience in a similar fast paced clerical/administrative role, evidence of IT skills, experience of taking responsibility and working independently to deal appropriately and efficiently with unforeseen problems/issues, and experience of working to short deadlines. Experience of minute-taking, using spreadsheets and databases is desirable.
