This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive University where you can really make a difference. You will be a member of the Research Accounting Team - a young in experience team who are undergoing a period of change. The team are responsible for the financial management of all externally funded research projects within the University.

This pivotal part-time role involves providing expert financial guidance and support to academics across various disciplines, ensuring compliance with funding regulations and promoting best practices in research finance management.

You will already be working in a finance environment, monitoring and reporting on financial information and liaising with customers face to face, by telephone and in writing, delivering excellent customer service. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is integral, with responsibility of your own deadlines and task prioritisation.

This is a part-time position working 14.8 hours per week (0.4 FTE) on a permanent basis.
