Middlesex University is launching a new Current Research Information System (CRIS). With one of its modules the CRIS Repository going live, new processes have been introduced, and we therefore wish to appoint a Repository Manager on a permanent contract.
As a member of the Research Support team in LSS, the post holder will manage and develop the (Haplo/Cayuse) University’s Research Repository and associated services, systems and support including the provision of training, guidance and advocacy for open access research outputs and research data. You will have experience in the use or management of research repository systems and experience in metadata, bibliographical data or of cataloguing. You will have an interest in, and knowledge of, current issues associated with the management of research outputs in the higher education sector and be well organised and able to work within a small, supportive team. We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role as set out in the role profile. Flexible working applications (including part-time working) will be considered.

Staff of MU Services Limited will work alongside Middlesex University staff and will be employed by MU Services Limited. All University policies and procedures and the University Professional Services Staff Handbook will apply to MU Services Limited staff during their employment, unless where expressly stated otherwise.
