Background

The Regional Simulation & Human Factors Project has a mission to deliver a Multi-Professional, Service-User focused network; agile, collaborative, and aspirational, to coordinate, develop, monitor & improve Healthcare Simulation & Human Factors Interventions in Education, Research, and Improvement to the evaluated benefit of the community. The Senior Fellow will drive and inform excellence in the project activity.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Lead, you will provide senior input into operational delivery of faculty development & the range of regional simulation project objectives to develop a regional collaborative community of practice for Healthcare Simulation-Based Education, drawing together educators and practitioners across the spectrum: from community to specialist clinical care, and from the universities and medical schools of the region. You will provide cohesive academic oversight and drive excellence in design, delivery and evaluation of impact in all the varied project activities.

The Person

You will be a practicing clinician with impressive experience in simulation-based education & transformation (outreach, systems probing, etc) and recognised accomplishment in operational delivery, research, and evaluation. With experience delivering multi-professional learning and collaboration for excellence in IPE Simulation design and delivery, you must be able to demonstrate skills in communication, problem-solving teamworking and leadership. Qualification as an educator and well-honed skills in IT Office applications and online working are essential requirements. 

Desirable requirements: evidence of publication and conference presentations at national and international level would also be advantageous.

This post is fixed term for one year secondment.
