The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Marketing Manager that loves to combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution and that wants to join an energetic, fast-paced marketing team in Shanghai. 

This role is perfect for a marketing generalist that likes to think across different marketing disciplines to create and execute holistic annual marketing plans that integrate all marketing mix elements for Hult’s Undergraduate, Masters and MBA programs (including web, e-mail, paid search, social, print, events etc). 

You will enjoy monitor the overall performance metrics of initiatives and promote agile thinking with the annual marketing plan to help the business achieve its goals, while building a strong brand (benchmark plans and campaigns continuously and innovate/produce new ideas). 

Responsible for a small team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work in partnership with the enrollment team to devise, manage and execute a comprehensive omnichannel marketing plan 
  • Use your knowledge of the Chinese educational market to help support growth targets of the region 
  • Work closely with the global marketing team to produce localized printed and digital assets to ensure they meet local requirements  
  • Support the local enrolment team with the planning of local and country-wide events. From fairs, webinars, info session to 121’s and on-campus events  
  • Support with the execution of events. Supplier liaison such as hotel bookings, venue sourcing, catering, on-site event management, staff organization, logistics, and promotions 
  • Analyze campaigns’ ROI by tracking weekly results, to evaluate which marketing areas, the China region should further invest in and where resources should be scaled back 
  • Create and manipulate reports in Salesforce CRM to report  
  • Create emails, landing pages, and digital assets for marketing campaigns using various CMS & Email Marketing platforms 
  • Prior experience with Digital Acquisition, SEO & SEM, etc is strongly preferred 
  • Create and deploy social media to build brand awareness in China 
  • Work with local agencies & partners 
  • Manage a small marketing team 

You Should Be: (Qualifications)

  • Able to harness both the right and left side of your brain to look at problems and situations, we need someone data driven without sacrificing creativity
  • Problem solver. Student behavior is constantly changing and so must we. You are excited by the prospect of solving a problem, only to have to figure it out all over again.
  • Someone with at least 5 years of marketing experience, ideally in education marketing
  • Overseas experience preferred
  • Passionate about making a difference in the world of education
