Do you thrive on hitting and exceeding targets? Are you ambitious with an international vision?
Are you a natural networker who can build rapport quickly? Can you turn prospects into sales?
Coventry University is one of the UK's leading Higher Education institutions. Our performance is underpinned by visionary leadership, strong financial management and an entrepreneurial approach; all of which ensures that we are developing a University that is fit for the future.
International growth is a key part of our current and future strategy and Coventry University is now one of the leading UK universities for students studying one of our degrees overseas. We have put ourselves on the global map by building partnerships with over 70 academic institutions in more than 34 countries, and we will be building even more to achieve our 2021 corporate plan targets.
Our Academic Partnership Unit shows a young and vibrant worldwide audience exceeding 16,000 students how a UK degree from Coventry University in their home country will change their lives. Because of this we are in the Top 5 UK Universities for students studying a UK degree award overseas (HESA 2017/18) and one of the fastest growing universities in the UK over the last 15 years (WMCU Report 2018). We move at a fast pace and love the buzz of new ideas that keep us ahead of the competition.
We are looking for a Partnership Business Development Manager to join our team in our new Dubai Hub supporting the MENA region. The Hub is part of the University Group and sits under a Subsidiary of the Group– CU Management Services. To succeed in our team, you need to be fully committed to understanding the “Coventry way” inside out and showcasing this to our partners. You also need a proven track record of delivering against targets.
This new exciting opportunity will suit an ambitious, commercially minded and target-driven individual. You will need to commit to extensive regional travel and be flexible in approach to working hours. Spoken and written fluency in English and Arabic is essential and ability to communicate in French would be advantageous.
