This full-time role is available immediately on a fixed term basis for one year.

We are really excited to be offering a fantastic opportunity to the market for a talented recruitment/HR professional to join us in one of our Recruitment Coordinator roles. The role will be hybrid with some time on campus and some from home (or UK location of your choice). There is also potential for the role to be remote based working within the UK.

Supporting the University in its strategic ambitions, the recruitment team aim to attract the best talent globally ensuring a smooth candidate experience and robust selection process.  We are looking for someone who has some recruitment or general HR experience and really loves supporting an organisation to attract and hire the best.  There is a huge opportunity to truly make a difference with this role.  We have transformed our recruitment team and work much more closely with all of our Faculties and Support services to offer expertise around sourcing, selection and candidate management.  There are also lots of opportunities to progress your career towards one of our Recruitment Lead roles and to progress within HR generally.

Team working is critical to the way our recruitment team operates.  We are supportive, collaborative, and respectful and seek to deliver our values on a daily basis.  It is a fast paced environment but you will join a team of Recruitment Leads, Coordinators and Administrators who work closely together.

What you will be doing

You will take responsibility for the end to end recruitment process ensuring that candidates and recruiting managers receive a standout service at all times.  You will build strong relationships with regular recruiting managers, advising and guiding them throughout the recruitment process.  You will use a variety of systems and internal processes to support our aim to find the best talent.

You

You will have strong customer focus and the ability to advise and influence hiring managers.  You will have previous experience as a recruitment coordinator or advisor either with a recruitment agency or within an internal recruitment team OR general HR experience.  The ability to juggle priorities  and work to deadlines with strong attention to detail is also critical.
