About the Role
Our vision is to be one of the world's exceptional universities helping transform our region, country and world for the collective good. As we have grown as an institution our services and structures have grown with us. We have regularly reviewed, adapted and improved our approach which has brought great success in certain areas. We recognise the need to further modernise our Professional Services and make things simpler and more consistent for our Professional Services colleagues, our academics and our students.
Warwick Transformation is the programme to help us achieve this. The programme will review all systems, processes and structure of Professional Services teams, both centrally and in departments. The ultimate aim is to ensure our services are designed and function in a way that means we are future-ready. The programme will also create an environment that encourages empowerment and optimal delivery, something our people have regularly asked for.
The Recruitment and Redeployment Officer is integral to steering the redeployment and talent acquisition approaches taken as a result of the transformation. The role will consider and advise on approaches to talent acquisition (encompassing attraction, selection and appointment) taking into account socially inclusive recruitment practices to improve reach and develop a more diverse pool of candidates. You will provide advice and guidance to ensure that redeployment happens effectively and be responsible for the redeployment process, ensuring accurate, supportive guidance to other HR colleagues and those employees affected by the change.
The role will sit as part of the Recruitment Team but with close alignment to Warwick Transformation. The Recruitment Team sits in the broader HR Specialists area and therefore provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to gain insight into the wider HR operation, and the support of colleagues in the wider team.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.

About You
You will have experience of recruitment and redeployment processes and any relevant legislation. You will have experience of working on projects, thinking laterally to discover and assess the best option. Strong communication skills are important with the ability to influence and explain rationale to colleagues and customers. You will relish fostering an engaging and collaborative approach.
For further information regarding the skills required for this role please see the personal specification section of the attached job description.
Closing date: 6th March 2024, 11.55pm
