Contract: Open ended - 33:42 hours/week

Working pattern: Working on alternating shift patterns including mornings, evenings and weekends (rota available on request)

Sport Sheffield is the department of the University of Sheffield that manages all aspects of sport, including facilities and related services. The facilities at Goodwin Sports Centre include 170 station gym, 33.3m pool, strength and conditioning room, squash courts, sports hall, studios, extensive outdoor pitch provision. At Norton Sports Park we have 44 acres of grass playing fields.

Recreation Assistant

We are looking for friendly staff who love working in a leisure environment with a focus on offering great levels of service to customers. Recreation Assistant duties include facility set-ups, pool supervision, facility inspections and responding to first aid and emergency situations. This role would suit someone who has worked in a leisure facility and would embrace the chance to join our team supporting health and well-being opportunities to students and the wider community. This role would suit someone with experience of working in indoor or outdoor sports facilities who is looking for the next step in their career in leisure.
