We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious Reader / Principal Lecturer in Accounting and Finance, who will join the subject management group as Programme Lead with responsibility for the design and delivery of current and future programmes. Working with the Associate Dean for Programmes and senior colleagues in the subject area, you will be responsible for driving programme innovation. 

Applicants should be passionate about the future of education and committed to developing and delivering an outstanding learning experience to students. You will demonstrate an enthusiasm for pedagogic innovation and actively support the development of a research-informed curriculum.

Applications from active disciplinary and or pedagogic researchers with a strong profile are particularly welcome, and if appointed would be afforded time to further develop their research and contribute to the growing research profile of the Business School. In exceptional circumstances we will consider employing notable candidates at Readership level. 

As a senior colleague and expert in the subject area you will have an excellent grasp of the field and its future direction that will shape the future of research and programmes at Oxford Brookes Business School. You will be an excellent communicator with first class interpersonal skills, and as a team player you will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work.

Candidates are usually appointed at the bottom of the salary range with a step pay increase until they reach the top of the salary scale.
