We are now recruiting to the role of Research and Knowledge Exchange Administrator to support the Research Impact Manager with activities designed to enhance the delivery of research impact at the University.  This post offers scope to enhance your skills and knowledge of research administration. 

Activities will include: co-ordination of both school-focused and university wide activities, servicing meetings, budget monitoring and processing financial transactions, support for events and communications, including design and development of internal Sharepoint pages. 

In this role you will work with a series of projects and interact with a diverse range of academic and professional services roles. 

In order to be successful, you should have:

  • experience of providing a quality administration service 
  • previous experience of working with office processes 
  • the ability to work as part of a team
  • experience of planning and prioritising a range of work activities, meeting sometimes conflicting work deadlines
  • good communication and analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex procedures and information clearly

This post is offered on a fixed term contract up to 12 months (to cover maternity leave) and is full-time (37.0 hours per week), however we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.

The University has an agile working framework, which enables some home working, with approval from the line manager.
