The College of Health & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced and proactive manager to join our busy and expanding College of Health & Life Sciences administration team.

As one of the College’s Academic Services Managers you will lead a multi-disciplinary programme administration team and related staff delivering a wide range of support to programmes and students. You will work closely with senior academic colleagues to determine programme support priorities and requirements and ensure the team works efficiently and effectively providing a high quality, responsive service.

You will also manage various key academic service responsibilities for the College working with a range of staff within the College and across the University, offering a key source of information, guidance and specialist advice and playing a leading role in developing and managing associated processes, procedures, and systems across the College professional support team. 

Educated to degree level, you will have experience of a senior administrative role in further or higher education including establishing and managing administrative systems and procedures. You will have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate staff to achieve their best and provide an excellent service to students, staff, and other stakeholders. You will be confident dealing with a wide range of people and representing the College in various meetings or events. You will have excellent IT, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. With a “can do” approach and commitment to excellence and continual improvement you will also be flexible, innovative, and able to reflect and plan at a strategic level.
