Medical School 

2023 will be an exciting time for Aston Medical School as they graduate their first cohort of medical graduates, and during the same year they are launching our Nursing Studies (Registered Nurse, Adult Nursing) BSc (Hons) programme has recently been approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) for undergraduate recruitment starting from 2023.

The Candidate 

We are seeking an ambitious individual with drive and passion for medical education and clinical research who will play a pivotal part in the continued growth of the school’s academic activity and reputation.

You will bring a collaborative and inclusive management style, an ability to develop partnerships with external stakeholders which benefit the medical school and wider university, alongside efficient and effective resource management. 

You may be a practising clinician or a clinical scientist with an outstanding international research profile and proven ability to attract significant research funding.  Research interests or working in the areas of digital health, genomics or individualised medicine would be of particular interest.
