The Finance team is looking for a Credit Controller to support the University and its students through management of student billing and debt, and providing accurate, timely information.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of debts due to the University in respect of student debt, sponsorship and commercial income in the appropriate accounting ledgers.

A student-facing role, the primary function is to proactively support the collection of all debts whilst providing advice and guidance to debtors on their settlement. The post holder will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and will positively contribute to the delivery of a consistent, high-quality service, ensuring queries are responded to in a professional and timely manner.

Key relationships will need to be built with student support areas, internal departments and commercial customers and you will need to be an excellent communicator with proven experience of problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

The applicant will be diligent and efficient - a team player with the ability and motivation to work well alone. They will need to have a hands-on approach and be able to cope with competing demands and short timescales, with excellent communication skills.
