The College of Health and Life Sciences is looking to appoint one Senior Research Technician on a fixed term project. The project entitled “Neuronal networks from cortical human iPSCs for Machine Learning Processing (NeuChiP), funded by the EU FET OPEN project NeuChiP. This is a joint research programme capitalising on the knowledge and expertise of the partners in human stem cell derived networks, bioengineering, Neuroscience, Physics, Mathematics and neuromorphic computing. 

We are recruiting a Research technician who will provide support for the neuronal network cell culture and recording aspects of the project at Aston. This will mainly involve human induced pluripotent stem cell differentiation and culture, together with general lab management. The post-holder will report to Dr Eric Hill and Professor Rhein Parri in the College of Health and Life Sciences.
