Aston University’s Digital Services team build, manage and support a complex digital infrastructure that supports delivery of outstanding graduate outcomes and equips business and communities with the skills for future success. Many of the improvements we are making are encapsulated within ‘Digital Aston’ - a £10 million programme to build a digital environment which meets the needs and expectations of Aston’s beneficiaries. 

Working within our new Digital Improvement & Engagement Team, the successful applicant will lead on the initiation and delivery of Digital Services projects, and represent the department by leading a technical stream within strategic projects and programmes, including in the Digital Aston programme. Working closely with colleagues within Digital Services, the Project Management Office and across Colleges and professional services teams, the post holder is responsible for the successful delivery of these projects.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate evidence of successfully delivering technical/digital projects as well as a strong background in both IT technologies and project management principles.
